With just a few days ahead of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 Refresh lineup, we thought we would share synthetic benchmarks for all three cards, including the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT across various 3DMark tests.
Leaked synthetic AMD Radeon RX 6000 Refresh performance tests: flagship RX 6950 XT faster than NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti in Spy and Fire Strike
Yesterday, for the first time, we introduced you to the full and final specification of AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 refresh line, which will include the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT cards. The performance results we provide for these cards are based on reference designs that run at elevated clock rates, which we wrote about yesterday. The test platform includes a Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor with DDR4-3600 memory and the latest drivers 22.10-220411n on Windows 10.
The tests show the results of all three cards in various 3DMark Synthetic tests such as Time Spy, Fire Strike, 11, and Port Royal. First, we have 3DMark Time Spy, where the RX 6950 XT is faster than the NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti, the RX 6750 XT is faster than the RTX 3070 Ti, and the RX 6650 XT is faster than the RTX 3060. Remember we also compared the RTX 3090 Ti to the strong with overclocking around 2200 MHz and clocked memory of 23.5 Gb / s. The RTX 3090 Ti scored 22,408 points in its graphics test, which is a 1% increase over the 6950 XT running on reference clocks. The Radeon graphics card will have no problem exceeding this performance thanks to the slight overclocking of the GPU and memory.
Now a comparison with other graphics cards is below, but be aware that they operate under different test setups, so performance results may differ in final testing:
3DMark Fire Strike is a strong point of AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, and RDNA 2 in particular. Here we see a rerun of what we saw in the Time Spy benchmarks and you can have a look for yourself:
Moving on to 3DMark Port Royal, we can see that NVIDIA maintains its advantage with the more advanced RT core architecture. The Radeon RX 6950 XT offers RT performance close to but not matched by the RTX 3080. The RX 6750 XT is roughly as fast as the RTX 2080, but significantly slower than the RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, while the RX 6650 XT is only slightly faster than the RTX 3050 in this performance test.
We also added 3DMark 11 numbers for the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT for you to enjoy and compare:
Once again, all of these results are for the reference models, but it looks like AIBs are already working on models that will run above 2.5 GHz for all three projects. As noted by Videocardz (Chiphell Forums), the recently leaked Sapphire line will feature a dual BIOS design in all three variants and will be available in a variety of Toxic and Nitro flavors.

Sapphire Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards Reload probably detailed
Regarding the alleged Sapphire Radeon RX 6000 leak, AIB is working on its flagship Radeon RX 6950 XT TOXIC design along with the custom RX 6950 XT Nitro + SE, RX 6950 XT Nitro +, RX 6750 XT Nitro + and RX 6650 XT Nitro + models. These cards will not only have custom designs but will also adopt factory overclocks and higher TGP values stored in their BIOS. Here’s a look at the line:
- Sapphire RX 6950 XT Toxic: 332W (2310/2532 MHz) / 346 W OC BIOS (2343/2565 MHz)
- Sapphire RX 6950 XT Nitro + SE: 303W (2162/2368 MHz) / 325 W OC BIOS (2226/2435 MHz)
- Sapphire RX 6950 XT Nitro + OC: 289 W (2116/2324 MHz) / 284 WS BIOS (2100/2310 MHz)
- Sapphire RX 6750 XT Nitro + OC: 230 W (2554/2623 MHz) / 200 WS BIOS (2495/2600 MHz)
- Sapphire RX 6650 XT Nitro + OC: 164 W (2523/2694 MHz) / 157 WS BIOS (2486/2680 MHz)
Interestingly, the three Nitro + OC models have TDP tuned slightly below the reference models. The 6950 XT Nitro + OC has a lower TDP of 46W, the 6750 XT Nitro + OC has a lower TDP of 20W, while the 6650 XT Nitro + OC has a lower TDP of 16W. It goes lower when the “Silent” BIOS is on. Still, GPUs are able to run at a higher standard frequency, which is impressive.

The Sapphire Radeon RX 6950 XT Toxic and Nitro + SE are capable of operating at much higher clock frequencies, and also have a slightly lower TDP than reference designs. The Toxic is close to its 335W wall, but can be extended to 346W to 2565MHz. This is a 2% increase over the RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme, which ran up to 2525MHz but had an OC BIOS power rating of 400W. when the Nitro + OC models will have a three-fan design.
