Lady Gaga has finally released her highly anticipated single for Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack.

After teasing the exciting project for weeks, the 36-year-old hitmaker finally released the song Hold My Hand on Tuesday morning.

Gaga donned a green flight suit to show off her gorgeous figure in a form-fitting white tank top while accessorizing with aviator visors and a silver dog tag necklace.

Her blonde locks were disheveled as she blew in the wind, wearing natural, complementary makeup on her face.

The new song is written and produced by BloodPop and herself with additional production from Benjamin Rice.

It definitely has a ballad feel to it when the chorus says, “So cry tonight / But don’t let go of my hand / You can cry every last tear / I won’t leave until I understand / Promise me, just hold my hand.”

On the song the 36-year-old hitmaker previously wrote: “When I wrote this song for Top Gun: Maverick, I didn’t even realize the multiple layers it spanned across the heart of the film, my own psyche and the nature of the world we have lived in.

“I spent years working on it, perfecting it, trying to make it ours. I wanted to make music a song where we share our deep need to both be understood and try to understand each other – a desire to be close when we feel so far away and an ability to celebrate life’s heroes.

‘I am so grateful to Tom’ [Cruise] and Hans [Zimmer] and [director Joseph Kosinski] for this opportunity – and it was a wonderful experience working with them.
