We’ve rounded up some of the prevailing theories among the fandom, and even some of our ComicBook.com experts got us involved. Keep scrolling to see everyone’s theories, but we’ll start with one of yours first.
My current irrational #MCU obsession?
to think #Moon Knight is going to end with a Gorr the God Butcher post-credits scene.

We’re just a matter of weeks away from the release of Thor: Love and Thunder, with Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. I tweeted back in February and theorized how the character would appear in a post-credits scene where I killed one of the members of the Ennead and set him on his divine path.
However, a more reasonable and realistic prediction would be the official announcement of the Werewolf by Night-starring Marvel Studios Halloween special, given the comic book connection between that horror character and ol’ Moonie.
Let’s see what everyone is saying around these parts!
Who’s in it?!
#Moon Knight Theory: The scene after the end credits of the finale is the opening of the red sarcophagus.

We heard Blade (Mahershala Ali) speak in the closing moments of Eternals, and some want to see the character make a cameo long before his movie. Jenna Anderson of ComicBook.com thinks that in this latest episode of Moon Knight†
“I’d freak out if any of the proto-Midnight Sons showed up,” Anderson says. “We know that Steven and Dane Whitman are basically in the same area, so a cameo from him or Mahershala Ali’s Blade would be incredible.”
For the first five episodes, Moon Knight has been largely removed from the Marvel Cinematic Universe with just a few Easter eggs here and there. Evan Valentine of ComicBook.com hopes that changes in the finale.
“One of the great things about Moon Knight isn’t just Oscar Isaac starring as Marc, Jake and Steven, it’s how the series is able to open the boundaries to more of the supernatural that we’ve only seen peaks with humans.” as Dr. Strange,” Valentine writes. “In the finale, aside from closing Marc’s first outing, I hope we get a bigger hint as to where the MCU is headed for its more supernatural aspects.”

Most people want Jake Lockley to finally make his live-action debut, including our very own Nicole Drum.
“Jake Lockley. Jake Lockley. Jake Lockley. I don’t have a specific prediction of the how or even why, but I’m putting all my bets on we’ll finally get Jake,” Drum says. “They’ve teased him enough! It’s got to happen! I mean, I haven’t read every appearance of Moon Knight in comics to get on a TV show that Jake Lockley doesn’t even deliver. Come on!”
Season Two Reveal
This is my theory: they are NOT going to finish everything in the final. They can’t do it in 42 minutes. That’s why I think for him it’s not an end – it’s a beginning. I’m just going to be optimistic because they haven’t given us a bad episode yet. #Moon Knight pic.twitter.com/0pKd5JK616
