Google’s Pixel 6 Pro is cheaper than ever at $ 649

You have another chance to get a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro at the lowest prices. The 6.4-inch Pixel 6 costs $ 100, costing $ 499 unlocked at Amazon, Best Buy, or the Google Store. The more expensive Pixel 6 Pro has a 6.7-inch display, a higher-resolution screen, more RAM, and above all a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom on the back that sets it apart from many flagship phones. Usually it costs $ 899, but can be purchased for $ 649 via Amazon, Best Buy, or the Google Store. To put the price in context, this beats Prime Day’s price by $ 50.

Or, you can grab those phones at Target, and if you’re lucky, you can find especially good deal at your local Pixel 6 Pro store. Some Reddit users found the Pixel 6 Pro on sale for just $ 270. Others came across it for $ 449. Don’t count on finding these deals, but it doesn’t hurt to stop by and check.

Google Pixel 6 Pro

Google’s flagship Pixel 6 Pro has a 6.7-inch display and offers three rear cameras, including an excellent telephoto / zoom lens. The company’s chip Tensor provides a host of new software features such as Magic Eraser and greatly improved voice dictation capabilities.

Google Pixel 6

Google’s cheaper Pixel 6 has the same Tensor processor and 50-megapixel main camera as the Pixel 6 Pro, but with a smaller (flat) display and no dedicated telephoto lens. But you get largely the same experience in a more affordable, easier-to-use chassis.

The Pixel 7 series phones are coming to the tech launch horizon this fall, so keep that in mind if you’re thinking of purchasing a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro. At this point, you should definitely not pay more than this offer price for any phone. But despite being one year old, they’re still a great value in terms of camera specs and performance. And if your eyes are on the Pixel 6 for $ 499, paying $ 50 more will get you far better value than the newer Pixel 6A, which typically sells for $ 449. Read our review.

Nintendo recently released the latest batch of remastered tracks as paid DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Actually, it’s the second wave of six to the game, which is an extremely long tail of support given that the game is a re-edition of the original 2017 version of the Wii U that was released in 2014. If for some reason you don’t already have the game, you can download the Digital or Physical Edition for $ 39.99, the lowest price we’ve seen for this must-have game for Switch.

If you’re looking for a high-end laptop designed for gamers and creators, Best Buy has the newest Gigabyte Aero 16, which is only sold for today at a great price. Usually it costs $ 2,349.99, but you can pick one for $ 1,399.99. You won’t find such specs on other laptops of a similar price. Starting with the display, it comes with a 16:10 (3840 x 2400) 16:10 (3840 x 2400) OLED 4K OLED panel that just keeps getting better. The processor is an Intel Core i7-12700H and is equipped with the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics chip, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB SSD.

While it’s short on the ports, with only a headphone jack, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a USB-C 2.3 Gen 2 port, it does include a kind of mini USB-C dock that adds an HDMI, Ethernet port, Mini DisplayPort, and a USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port . However, you’ll opt out of one of your USB-C ports.

This configuration of Gigabyte’s 16-inch Aero laptop includes a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3070 Ti for solid gaming performance.

My colleague Monica Chin has reviewed the more advanced and expensive version of the Aero 16 and I expect many of the same pros and cons to go over to this cheaper version. Don’t expect much from battery power, and it probably won’t be the coolest and quietest piece of equipment in the room, wherever you intend to use it. But for the money it feels like a great value in terms of power and specs. Read our full review.
