The Pokémon Diamond And Pearl remake just won a “Global Award”

During today’s Tokyo Game Show in 2022, the winners of the Japan Game Awards were announced. One winner in particular that people seem to be talking to on social media is the Switch 2021 Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl title.

Not only was it picked up the “best sale” award, it was also named the best Japanese game in the world. While the selling bounty isn’t all that surprising, many online coaches seem confused (and somewhat frustrated) about how the remakes removed the “global” prize.
